What's New?

Bible Information Class: For those interested in finding out about what we believe and teach, we offer Bible Information Class (BIC) with a review of Bible basics and Lutheran teachings. This class prepares you to become a member of this church if you have not been instructed in the Lutheran tradition. Contact the church office if you would like to enroll. Classes take place from 9:00-10:15am on Sunday mornings.

“Fill the Playpen” Baby Shower: From Oct. 2-Nov. 23, a baby shower will take place for New Beginnings, the home for mothers that has relocated to the Milwaukee area. Please bring donations (such as diapers, wipes, onesies, etc.) to church to help the infants -- and their moms -- who will be residing there. The Christian Life Resources branch of St. Paul is hosting this event.

Nov. 2nd Reformation Services:We are offering a special worship opportunity in both worship services on Sunday, November 2. It will be our privilege to have with us The Lutheran Ceili Orchestra in our 7:45am and 10:30am services. A “Ceili” Orchestra is an unfamiliar name to most of us. It stands for “Irish Celtic” music. It is a beautiful form of music known for the use of special instruments such as the tinwhistle, bagpipe, fiddle, piano, etc. The orchestra is headed up by Joey Schumann, an accomplished musician who played in Carnegie Hall in 2010. You will find the service beautiful and moving. Our children from the Little Learner’s program will also participate in the service. We would love to see you, and we promise you will find the service a blessing to your faith.

Chili Cook-Off: The St. Paul Chili Cook-Off Contest sponsored by the Ladies Aid will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8th. The doors will open at 5:00pm, and the tasting and voting of the chili will begin at 5:30pm. Attendees will be voting on the best chili in several categories. The cooks will be anonymous and need to have their chili in place before the doors open at 5:00pm. There will be a free-will offering which will be given to the snow plowing fund. Prizes for the cooks and a drawing for those in attendance will be held. There are sign-up sheets on the table in the narthex for those who will be bringing chili, another for condiments, desserts and extras. and a third to indicate how many will be attending. Ham sandwiches will also be served.Join us for some great food and spectacular fun!
